Item #: EA-033

Object Class: Dangerous

Name: That's not a diver

Containment: EA-033 is to be contained within a reinforced aquatic containment tank measuring no less than 25ft in length and equipped with a soundproofing system to minimize the reach of its vocalization. The tank must be situated in a dedicated containment chamber constructed with reinforced materials resistant to aquatic pressure. The chamber should have no windows or reflective surfaces. Access to EA-033's containment area is restricted to Level 7 personnel and above, and all interactions with the object must be conducted remotely or through protective barriers.

Profile: EA-033 is an aquatic creature measuring approximately 18ft in length and 4ft in width. Its physical appearance is similar to that of a giant eel, with smooth, scaleless skin that appears black in coloration. The creature's head features a wide, tooth-filled maw and two large, milky white eyes.

EA-033 possesses a primary anomalous effect related to its vocalization, which has a range of approximately 50 meters. The secondary effect occurs when any individual within a 2-meter radius of EA-033 hears its vocalization. The affected individual, hereafter referred to as EA-033-2, becomes unresponsive to external stimuli and immediately heads towards the nearest body of water, typically the tank containing EA-033. EA-033-2 disregards any obstacles in its path and proceeds to enter the water, initiating self-drowning behavior. This process involves ingesting large amounts of water and failing to resurface, ultimately resulting in expiration within 5-10 minutes.

EA-033's anomalous effect is impervious to soundproofing or other noise-cancellation measures. The creature has been observed using its vocalization as a hunting tool, attracting prey to water sources before triggering the secondary effect. Due to these anomalous properties, EA-033 is classified as a Dangerous-class entity, requiring strict containment protocols outlined above.

Ensuring the safety of personnel and preventing accidental activation of EA-033's anomalous effects is of utmost importance, warranting compliance with the established containment procedures.
