Containment: EA-045 is to be contained within a reinforced, climate-controlled containment chamber at Outpost Pi. The chamber must be equipped with ultraviolet lighting to deter the moth's movement and maintain a constant temperature of 18°C. Access to the containment chamber requires Level 4 clearance and must be monitored by at least two security personnel at all times. The chamber should also have a secondary containment system in place to capture any moths that attempt to escape during routine inspections or maintenance.

Profile: EA-045, codenamed "Memory Moth," is an anomalous moth with a wingspan of approximately 5-7 centimeters and a body length of around 3-4 centimeters. The moth exhibits a typical structure with a plump, segmented body and broad, triangular wings. Its coloration is notably distinctive; the wings are iridescent black adorned with intricate, luminescent patterns that resemble synaptic connections or neural networks. These patterns pulse gently with a soft blue or green glow, and the body, dark grey to black with a velvety texture, features faint, glowing stripes that correspond to the wing patterns.

The compound eyes of EA-045 are large and multifaceted, reflecting light in a prismatic effect akin to oil on water, creating hues of deep violet with hints of green and blue. The moth's long, feathery antennae have a slightly phosphorescent sheen, matching the dark grey of its body with tips that glow faintly in low light. The wings are slightly translucent and delicate, with a surface that feels soft and powdery to the touch. When in flight, EA-045 emits a fine, silvery dust from its wings, which has mild luminescent properties and dissipates quickly.

EA-045 exhibits an erratic and unpredictable flight pattern, often hovering near the heads of humans as if drawn to their thoughts. It has the unique ability to phase through a person's skull and into their brain undetected. Once inside, the moth consumes memories, causing the affected individual to forget them. The quantity and importance of the memories consumed can vary, ranging from minor, everyday thoughts to significant, personal experiences and crucial information. The luminescent patterns on EA-045's wings and body intensify during the consumption process, creating a pulsating effect that aligns with the brain's activity.
