Item #: EA-046

Object Class: Secure

Name: The Rubik's Skin™

Containment: EA-046 is to be kept in a standard containment chamber within Outpost Alpha. The chamber should be equipped with temperature and humidity control systems to maintain optimal conditions for the entity's survival. Access to EA-046 is restricted to Level 2 personnel or higher, who must wear protective gloves when handling the entity to prevent contamination.

Profile: EA-046 is a unique anomaly taking the form of a standard 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. However, unlike traditional Rubik's cubes, EA-046 is entirely composed of living human flesh. Each side of the cube displays a distinct human feature, including a mouth, an ear, an eye, a nose, and so on. These features resemble those found on a living human being and exhibit normal biological functions.

The entity is alive and exhibits basic sensory capabilities, including blinking, hearing, smelling, and tactile sensitivity. However, attempts to establish meaningful communication with EA-046 have been unsuccessful thus far. It remains unclear whether the entity possesses higher cognitive functions or if it is purely reactive to external stimuli.

Upon disassembling EA-046, it is revealed that the inside of the cube is filled with blood, organs, and various types of human tissue. Despite the separation of its pieces, EA-046 continues to display coordinated movements. Each piece rotates simultaneously, regardless of its placement, defying the principles of a conventional Rubik's cube.

Notably, rotating the pieces of EA-046 does not affect the blinking or other sensory functions of the entity. The eyes continue to blink in unison, and the other features maintain their functionality throughout the manipulation of the cube. This behavior suggests a deeper connection between the individual components of EA-046, extending beyond their physical arrangement.

The origin and purpose of EA-046 remain unknown. Its unique composition raises significant ethical and scientific questions. The entity's ability to sustain life within the Rubik's cube structure challenges our understanding of anatomy and physiology. Ongoing research aims to comprehend the nature of EA-046, its biological processes, and any latent anomalous properties it may possess.
