Containment: EA-059 is to be confined within a reinforced steel chamber measuring 10m x 10m x 20m, secured behind multiple layers of blast-proof, airtight doors. The chamber must remain under constant surveillance using a variety of camera types, including infrared, ultraviolet, and X-ray imaging. At no point should EA-059 be left unobserved, as doing so would allow it to move freely and potentially escape containment.

Containment staff are required to operate in shifts, ensuring that at least two personnel are monitoring EA-059 from the control room at all times. Screens displaying live footage of EA-059 must be checked at regular intervals to maintain its immobilization. Should any surveillance equipment fail or show signs of interference, an immediate lockdown of the containment sector must be initiated until functionality is restored. Unauthorized personnel are strictly forbidden from entering EA-059's chamber under any circumstances.

Profile: EA-059 is a figureless shadow entity standing approximately 50 feet (15.2 meters) tall. However, when directly observed, EA-059 ceases all activity, appearing only as the small, indistinct shadow of an insect on the floor. While in this state, EA-059 is completely inert—it cannot move, generate sound, or interact with its surroundings in any way. Its presence, however, is still detectable through non-visual means, including infrared and X-ray imaging, which reveal its massive true form when not directly viewed by the human eye.

When unobserved, EA-059 moves at extreme speeds, ranging between 30 and 120 miles per hour. It traverses environments in complete silence, effortlessly bypassing obstacles without physical interaction. Its primary method of attack is possession—should EA-059 reach a living subject while unobserved, it will enter their body and take full control. Possessed individuals display erratic, violent behavior and heightened physical capabilities, often attempting to eliminate other potential observers in order to allow EA-059 to move freely. Exorcism or forced removal of EA-059 has proven impossible; termination of the host is the only known countermeasure.

Despite extensive research, the nature of EA-059's existence remains unclear. It does not cast a traditional shadow of its own, and its ability to remain entirely undetectable to direct observation contradicts known physical laws. The entity's anomalous properties suggest a level of intelligence, as it actively exploits blind spots, camera malfunctions, and momentary lapses in attention to gain mobility. The only guaranteed method of neutralizing EA-059's threat is to ensure that it is always being watched.

Due to the immense danger posed by EA-059's possession ability and high-speed movement, all containment protocols must be followed without exception. Any personnel experiencing gaps in memory, unexplained lapses in attention, or sudden changes in behavior are to be quarantined and monitored for signs of EA-059's influence.
