Containment: EA-077 is to be contained within a sealed, climate-controlled chamber at Outpost Pi. The chamber must remain under constant surveillance, with access restricted to Level 4 personnel only. Individuals entering the containment area must undergo prior psychological evaluation and approval, and exposure time is to be strictly limited. 

No more than one subject is permitted within the chamber at any given time unless authorised for controlled experimentation. Emergency intervention teams must remain on standby in the event of severe psychological distress or anomalous manifestations.

Profile: EA-077 is an anomalous painting consisting of a blank, white canvas with no visible markings. Upon close inspection, individuals can project their past regrets onto the canvas, resulting in the spontaneous manifestation of vivid depictions of their regrets. The emotions elicited by the paintings can range from guilt and sadness to extreme distress.

The anomalous property of EA-077 is most evident when multiple individuals project their regrets onto the same canvas. As more individuals focus on their regrets, the canvas gradually fills with increasingly detailed and intricate depictions of their respective past actions or decisions. The regrets depicted on the canvas are not limited to visual representations but can also trigger sensory perceptions related to the regrets, such as sounds, scents, and tactile sensations.

The emotional intensity of the projections often leads to psychological distress in viewers, and in some cases, spontaneous and uncontrollable manifestations of the regrets themselves. The manifestations are short-lived and confined to the immediate vicinity of the painting. However, in rare cases, particularly powerful regrets appear to gain a degree of sentience and influence over the individuals projecting them.
