EA Object Classes

Secure

Secure class entities are the safest classification of anomalies contained by the EAC Foundation. These entities are typically non-threatening, and can often be kept in standard containment procedures without any major issues. While secure anomalies do not pose any significant danger to staff or civilians, they are still monitored closely to ensure that their containment remains secure and their properties are well-understood.

This creature is EA-362, the spider room. Though it may seem menacing, it is very friendly and will only become protective if you hurt one of its babies*. If you see a spider around the foundation, it is better not to kill it, otherwise the creature will get protective and temporarily keep you in the cell webbed up - this is only temporary though, they will eventually let you go.

*These creatures stay young forever so there will not be multiple instances of the same EA.

Hazardous

Hazardous class entities are anomalous objects or creatures that pose a moderate threat to individuals and/or society as a whole. While they are not as dangerous as some of the higher classification levels, they should still be handled with extreme caution. Due to their unpredictable nature, it is necessary to have highly trained and specialized personnel to contain and study these entities effectively. It is important to note that while an hazardous class entity may not have immediate destructive potential, their long-term effects can be just as significant.

This is EA-026, the terror tree. This creature will attack you if you go near it with an attempt to do something to it. Sometimes though, it will attack for its own personal entertainment purposes.

Dangerous

Dangerous class entities are some of the most dangerous anomalies that the Foundation deals with, second only to the Cataclysmic entities. These entities pose a grave threat to humanity, whether through their sheer destructive power, ability to manipulate reality, or other unknown effects. Due to their extreme danger, Dangerous class entities are to be contained at all costs and dealt with using extreme caution and specialized protocols.

This creature is known as EA-241, the Dual-Jawed Lizard. It is a very hostile creature that will stay in its territory (the cell) unless anyone enters within a 5 ft radius of it. It will then use its 2 mouths to eat up whatever is left after a brutal attack to the spine.

Cataclysmic

Cataclysmic class entities represent the most perilous and dangerous EAs encountered by the EAC Foundation. These entities possess immense destructive capabilities and often display anomalous abilities that pose a significant threat to global stability. Cataclysmic class entities have the potential to cause widespread devastation, chaos, and even the extinction of life as we know it. Due to their extreme danger, utmost caution and immediate containment measures are necessary to prevent catastrophic consequences.

While being known as Cataclysmic, there will be other classifications for them (see Event Codes for more info).

The entity above is EA-047, the orb blast. The orb blast is a Cataclysmic class event that has not yet happened, but will if the entity inside is awoken. The entity itself can release massive spouts of energy and is around 6000 light years away from us. The event mentioned before is where the burst of energy will be so big that it spreads far enough to destroy earth (this event is called EA-047's death as it will cause the entity to become neutralised on its own).

Consumable

The term "consumable class" refers to entities or substances that are designated for consumption, whether by specific entities or for experimental purposes. These entities typically possess unique properties or characteristics that make them suitable for ingestion or use as a supplement. However, despite being categorized as consumable, they often require strict containment and handling protocols due to their anomalous nature or potentially hazardous effects. Specialized measures are implemented to ensure the safe storage, controlled administration, and monitoring of consumable class entities to prevent unintended consequences and maintain the overall security of the facility.

The object above is `EA-050. EA-050, known as Acid X, is a highly destructive and flammable purple-colored acid contained within a clay jar. Even a single drop of Acid X possesses the power to burn through graphene, the strongest material known to mankind. This corrosive entity exhibits unparalleled destructive capabilities, dissolving and eroding various materials upon contact. Acid X is classified as a consumable + omega class entity, intended solely for consumption by EA-011 as a dietary supplement. Extreme caution must be exercised when handling Acid X due to its potential for causing significant damage and the need for strict containment protocols.

Aid

Aid Class within the Foundation's EA classification system pertains to anomalies that require containment and management focused on maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene. These anomalies may not pose immediate threats to personnel or the surrounding environment but require regular upkeep and custodial measures to prevent deterioration or uncontrolled dissemination. Aid Class anomalies often involve substances, objects, or entities that necessitate specialized cleaning, storage, and handling protocols to maintain their stability and prevent cross-contamination.

This entity, designated as EA-032-A, is a broken-down school bus located in [REDACTED], England. It emits a highly toxic fume that rapidly decomposes organic matter upon exposure. The anomaly contains 3 rotting zombies, known as EA-032-B, C, and D, with many features of their body missing such as legs, eyes, etc.

Resolved

Resolved Class is designated to EAs that have been successfully terminated or breached with no remaining traces or signs of their existence. These anomalies pose no ongoing threat or danger to the world, as they have been fully eliminated or rendered inactive. Extensive containment efforts and thorough investigation have led to the complete eradication or disappearance of these EAs, ensuring the safety and stability of the world from their previous presence.

The anomaly above was known as EA-022, creepy crawler (now replaced with the new version "The abyssal gate"). It was a large, 3.5 metre tall entity with 6 long, blood-red legs and a giant eyeball for a head. The anomaly used to be Hazardous, but due to it being neutralised after an attempt to kill the Site Director, it was officially classed as neutralised.

Variable/Obscure

Variable class entities, emblematic of the enigmatic nature of anomalies, encompass an intricate spectrum of ever-shifting behaviors and characteristics that elude simple categorization. These anomalies defy the conventional constraints of Object Classes, traversing the entire gamut with astonishing swiftness. Their adaptability and protean attributes challenge established paradigms, as they can seamlessly morph between the benign and the ominous, often rendering containment strategies precarious. The study of these elusive entities is an ongoing pursuit, unraveling layers of complexity that offer profound insights into the multifaceted tapestry of anomalous phenomena.

Obscure entities, often shrouded in mystery, present formidable challenges to the Foundation's investigative endeavors due to their enigmatic nature and elusive characteristics. These anomalies defy conventional methods of analysis, rendering much of their information veiled in obscurity. Despite concerted efforts, the Foundation grapples with unraveling the intricacies of these enigmatic phenomena, with many aspects of their existence remaining elusive, confounding even the most seasoned researchers. The pursuit of understanding these elusive entities serves as a constant reminder of the boundless depths of the anomalous world, where mysteries abound and conventional wisdom often falters.

The Anomaly above is known as EA-019, a kraken able to travel different universes in seconds.  The fact this is unstable is because we don't know what kind of threat it can hold, and can vary.
